The power who destroy everything, She is as Tripur Bhairavi, Tripur means the three world Heaven, World and Hades and Bhairavi means as a principles of destruction. Lord Shiva who is the god of destruction and destroy every thing according, we resembles Tripur Bhairavi or Bhairavi in the form of destroyer. She have a luminous complexion of like a thousand rising sun, some times she become dark black as Kali or Kal Ratri, She is a half moon on her forehead and with three opened eyes, she wear a garland of Human skulls, ornate with Snakes and Rudraksha (A Seed called a tears of Rudra or a incarnation of lord Shiva) dispersed long black hair, have four hands in which she hold a Sword in right upper hand and a bowl made with human skull filled with blood in lower right hand, right hands shows the gestures of blessing called Abhay (assurance gesture) and Varad (boon conferring gestures) mudra, she is necked. She is very fierce and terrible or her destructive nature, is describe as, she wear a garland of freshly severed head of demons with gush blood, her face is same as face of the ghost horrible and terrible create fear and awe, she arises from dead body or corpse, who like and drink blood, she is who destroy the dead body. She is staying in Cremation Grounds and like to sit on dead body or corpse, eats and fond of the flesh of corpse. When, Prajapati Daksha (ruler Dakshya, son of Brahma) is going to do the Yagy ceremony (Rituals to offer materials to God by fire) in Kankhal, Haridwar and invite entire people from Universe except her daughter Sati" (Spouse of lord Shiva). As a result, huge anger generate in her nous and ten powers came out from Sati's body and encircle lord Shiva with four directions, four corners, their top and bottom. These Powers are Ten Maha Vidyas of Sati or Adya Shakti (prominent power), among those, a power name Bhairavi introduce lord Shiva about all and explained there is nothing to fear or worry.In the third chapter of Durga Saptasati (a text book related to Goddess Durga) named Mahisasur Badh (killing of Mahisasur, a name of Demon), we got reference of her appearance when she killed him, She is in red complexion, wear a red cloth and garland of cur demons head in her neck and liniment sandal on her Brest. She holds a book and a rosary, in her two hands and showing gesture of blessing and assurance from other two hands, she seated on the lotus.
